Meet Leanne Marshall
Christmas is quite possibly #AureeAngel Leanne’s (@lem_blog) favourite time of year. Who can blame her? Leanne LOVES sprouts and stuffing but isn’t so keen on wrapping up her pressies (believing the person that invented gift bags is a total legend!).

What will you be wrapping as a gift under the tree?
For me its all about family and friends. I love buying gifts for my loved ones especially the females in the family. I have my eye on a few pieces from Auree, in particular, the Soho Star Bracelet. I love layering bracelets together and so does my mum so I think she would love this! My cousin lost her sunglasses when we were at The Big Feastival in August so I am buying her some new ones for Christmas. She mentioned the Ray-Ban Rose gold aviators so I will possibly get her those!
Where will you be spending Christmas this year?
I always spend Christmas at my parent’s house, it’s only 15 minutes drive from my house. Christmas would not be the same anywhere else!
Do you have any Christmas traditions?
We do tend to meet all of the family at the pub before Christmas Dinner, is that a tradition?
What’s on your Christmas wishlist?
Since I am planning on getting my mum the star bracelet, I quite fancy the matching Necklace. It’s simple yet classic. I would also LOVE the Gucci card holder to match my bag, it’s quite pricey though. Other than that I am really not that fussed about gifts this year…. There is nothing that is an essential on my wishlist.
What’s your favourite party piece?
I am a classic style kinda person. Very fuss-free. You will usually find me in Black jeans, a tee & some heeled boots at most Christmas events. I do like to accessorise though. I tend to always wear my Tembo Bracelet from The TLCxAuree Collection, whack a pair of hoops in my ears & chuck on my Gucci Montreal Bag. I flipping love this bag, I bought it as a treat to myself after coming through a rough 6 months a stronger, better person so it holds a bit of a special place in my wardrobe – not to mention it increases my sass levels by about 10 times (or so I think in my head)
Favourite Christmas Film?
I ALWAYS watch Home Alone, the original though. I also love watching the Griswolds Christmas vacation. Everyone seems to be obsessed with Elf but I like the slightly older films that I pretty much know word for word.
What’s the best/worst Christmas present you ever received?
I have had so many amazing gifts over the years, I don’t think I could pick a standout favourite. To be honest, my friends and family know me well enough not to waste money on rubbish, we are pretty sensible with gifts.
Have you ever had a white Christmas?
I don’t think I have, I remember it snowing pretty bad on Boxing day about 4 years ago which was the closest I think I have got to a white Christmas!
Is your Christmas tree real or fake?
I usually have a real Christmas tree, this year however, I am thinking of buying an artificial tree, basically, because its a bit of a faff to get the right size tree that doesn’t drop after about 2 weeks.
Are you planning any New Year’s resolutions?
I’m not a fan of waiting till a new year to start something new or change something. If I want to change something there is no time like the present, of course, this is just my opinion, each to their own!
What would be your dream place to visit for the Christmas holidays?
Probably New York! I have never been and would LOVE to go in winter!
On the beach or on the snow?
Probably on the beach, I have never been skiing, it’s something on my to-do list. I think I would love it!
What treats do you leave for Father Christmas?
Brandy & Mince pies obviously – Would it be Christmas eve if not?
