Meet Jess Angell
Meet our fifth Angel, the extremely talented (@miss_jess). Jess adores capturing the world around her and sharing it with other like minded photography lovers. Londoner Jess is always on the move – her inspiring alter ego @missunderground will also change the way you see the London underground.
What will you be wrapping as a gift under the tree?
One of the Rose Gold Auree Necklaces, I’m having trouble picking which! I’ve also got a beautiful picture frame for my parents.
Where will you be spending Christmas this year?
At home in London – we’ve just moved house and will be hosting friends. We’ll take the dog for a walk in the morning and then come back, crack open the champagne and start cooking. This year we’re doing Beef Wellington as something a bit different from Turkey.
Do you have any Christmas traditions?
I buy a new Christmas jumper each year and now have a whole drawer full! This year we are also starting a new one – we’re off to Southwark Cathedral for their Carols the night before Christmas Eve.
What’s on your Christmas wishlist?
As we’ve just moved I’d love some more vases and framed pictures to go on the walls. I’m heavily into crystals at the moment and so I’m really into Rose Quartz jewellery.
What’s your favourite party piece?
I love wearing my Westbourne engraved bracelet and a lovely shiny glittery top or one of my many Christmas jumpers!
Favourite Christmas Film?
It has to be Love Actually!
What’s the best Christmas present you ever received?
The best are the thoughtful presents – I have a Globe collection which I love receiving additions to.
Have you ever had a white Christmas?
I remember one when I was younger and we lived in Kent. I wish it would snow in London.
Is your Christmas tree real or fake?
Real – it makes a mess but the smell is lovely.
Are you planning any New Year’s resolutions?
Probably to just take more photographs – I’d like to start an interiors blog if I can find the time.
What would be your dream place to visit for the Christmas holidays?
I’ve spent Christmas in Dubai and Australia before which was lovely and Sunny. I don’t do cold well but I’d love to go somewhere like Iceland or Lapland.
On the beach or on the snow?
Snow!
What treats do you leave for Father Christmas?
Carrots sticks and a mince pie.
