When our Founder Amelia first met Jo a couple of years ago, they discovered a shared love of travel and accessorising.

Conversations followed about collaborating on a really wearable and versatile collection - something that would be classic and long lasting with a bit of an edge to it.

Inspired by her magazine days, Jo confessed to always being a bit of a magpie when it comes to accessorizing and jewellery. Inspired by how people decorate their ears so much more than they ever used to, earrings seemed the perfect place to start the collection.

Auree's iconic interchangeable hoops have always been a circle shape and the pair decided to add a geometric twist to make them rectangular and then added a touch of sparkle, so they could be worn from day to night. Green stood out early on as a favourite colour for both.

The quality and resilience of the materials was an important choice to make sure the earrings would stand the test of time. Both Jo and Amelia felt it important to make the earrings using precious metals only - 18ct gold plated on Sterling Silver - moving away from the growing trend of using base metals such as brass or stainless steel, which won't last as long.

After many ideas, samples and meetings over coffee, the capsule collection was born.
